Ken Owens

Ken Owens is a partner in the Audit practice and specialises in the Asset Management industry.

Ken has extensive knowledge and experience advising clients including UCITS funds, hedge funds and private equity funds administered in Ireland.

Ken leads the PwC Dublin Asset Management Regulatory practice and has led a number of regulatory projects advising clients in relation to: the establishment UCITS funds and non-UCITS funds; anti-money laundering compliance; compliance function effectiveness; investment firm authorisation; capital adequacy requirements; and cross border outsourcing. Ken is currently helping clients to address the implementation issues arising from the new UCITS IV directive.

Ken is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Ken is a member of Irish Fund Industry Association's Governing Council and is also a member of the Investment Funds Listing Committee of the Irish Stock Exchange.
