Marie O'Connor Marie O'Connor is a partner in the audit practice and specialises in providing audit and business advisory services to the financial services industry. Marie is the lead engagement partner on a number of Dublin's most successful investment fund structures and has advised a number of leading US asset management groups in establishing operations in Ireland. She was the lead partner of the Irish asset management practice for 12 years until 2007 and was also the Financial Services Leader for the later four years. Marie was a member of our Global IM Leadership team and our European IM and FS Leadership executive for many years. Marie has been appointed as non executive director by the Irish Government over the last twenty years. Appointments have incuded IDA Ireland, Irish Life, National College of Art, Top Level Appointments Committee and she is currently a director of Dublin Airport. Marie is a member of the Irish Chapter of the Ireland US Council for Commerce and Industry, has been a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce and the Economic and Social Research Institute for Ireland. Marie is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, and is also qualfied as a Barrister. |
