Billy O'Riordan

Billy is the lead partner in charge of the corporate recovery & insolvency practice in Ireland with responsibility for corporate restructuring, insolvency and forensic work across all PwC offices in the Republic of Ireland.

Billy has over 30 years’ experience in dealing with distressed company situations in the property section, in formal executory appointments (receiverships and liquidations), in examinerships and in investigatory roles. He has acted on behalf of all the major financial institutions operating in Ireland, and on behalf of the Revenue Commissioners.

Billy is also Chairman of the CCABI Insolvency Committee and former Chairman of the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners in Ireland, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered and is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner.

Declan McDonald

Declan is a corporate recovery and insolvency Partner with PwC based in the PwC Dublin offices.

He has over 15 years experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring having acted as receiver, examiner and liquidator across a range of sectors including hospitality, construction, property, retail, engineering, distribution, motor and software among others. He is currently acting as examiner in a number of retail examinership cases and has been involved in a number of significant examinership cases in the past both as independent accountant and examiner. In addition he is currently acting as receiver and manager in a number of high profile commercial property cases on behalf of various Irish and UK financial institutions.

Declan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners.

Michael O’Regan

Michael is a corporate recovery & insolvency director, responsible for corporate restructuring and insolvency work across the PwC Limerick & Cork offices.

Michael has over 15 years’ experience in dealing with troubled company situations in a wide variety of industry sectors, in formal executor appointments – Receiverships and Liquidations, in examinerships and in investigatory roles. He has acted as part of the team on behalf of all the major financial institutions operating in Ireland, and on behalf of the Revenue Commissioners.

Michael is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Ken Tyrrell

Ken Tyrrell is a corporate recovery & insolvency director with PwC.

Ken has 10 years experience in corporate restructuring & insolvency, having worked on over 300 insolvency assignments including corporate and fixed charge receiverships, examinerships, liquidations, pre-pack transactions, loan sales and personal insolvency cases. He lectures for the Institute of Chartered Accountants including their Insolvency Diploma, specialising on receiverships and examinerships. He has acted as Receiver on several property and trading cases and been engaged on several restructuring assignments for Irish and UK financial institutions.

Ken has completed a banking secondment involving the day to day management of a distressed loan portfolio, preparing provisioning and impairment proposals, restructuring proposals and annual borrower reviews.

Ken is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners.

Brigid Daly

Brigid is a corporate recovery & insolvency senior manager, responsible for corporate restructuring and insolvency work across the PwC Limerick & Cork offices.

Brigid has over 18 years experience in insolvency procedures, in the UK and Ireland. She has managed numerous insolvency assignments, including Receiverships, Administrations and Liquidations, most recently in the hospitality and construction & development sectors. In the UK, she was involved in the administration of a number of high street retail chains, with significant property issues. Brigid also has experience in a number of insolvency projects in Romania, for the Romanian government.

Brigid holds a UK Insolvency Practitioner’s Licence and is a member of the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners.
