Susan Kilty Susan Kilty is a partner in the Tax & Legal Services practice and leader of the Entertainment & Media (E&M) industry group. Susan specialises in advising companies within the Technology and E&M sectors on Irish corporate tax, with a particular focus on US headquartered multinationals investing in Europe. Susan has extensive experience on all aspects of tax planning including business restructuring, establishing of joint ventures and new subsidiaries, tax due diligence reviews, tax health check reviews and tax compliance reviews. Susan assists companies to deal with many of the challenges technology & media companies face including strategic alliances, Mergers and Acquisitions and international expansions and with the complex international tax issues that can arise in these circumstances. Paul O'Connor Paul O'Connor is a partner and leads PwC Ireland's services to companies operating in the Technology, InfoComms and Entertainment & Media sectors. Paul leads the audit of a number of high profile technology companies and advises on the key challenges they face in the industry. Paul is a member of the PwC's European Software Community of Practice network that draws together the expertise of lead professionals to better serve software clients. In addition to this, Paul also presents at the PwC Software Accounting "boot camps" which aim to help clients better understand the complex accounting requirements around the areas of software revenue recognition and pricing both under Irish and US Accounting Standards. Paul is an elected member of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland helping to determine the Institute's strategy and policy and deciding on the allocation of resources to its various programmes. He has conducted a wide range of accountancy investigations in the context of commercial disputes and litigation. Michael leads PwC Ireland's audit services to the Entertainment & Media sector and has extensive experience in the construction/PPP, technology and info-comm sectors. Michael served on the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland for 8 years and was Chairman of its Technical Committee for 4 years. He served as a member of the Urgent Issues Task Force of the Accounting Standards Board UK and Ireland for 5 years. Michael is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. |
