Mark Carter
Mark Carter is a partner in the tax services practice and leads the HR services team, a team which assists organisations manage the financial, tax, regulatory, operational, risk management, and strategic challenges associated with human resources.
Mark has advised leading Irish and multinational clients across all sectors in relation to international workforce mobility, employment taxation, reward planning, resourcing, workforce rationalisation, as well as wider workforce and HR issues, including the HR aspects of corporate HQ migration. He leads the PwC series of HR business briefings and is a regular spokesperson in relation to people issues.
Mark has been involved in advising corporations in several industries on the people aspects of corporate migration projects. He also has extensive experience in international assignment policy development and expatriate programme services.
He is a member of Governance Committee of the PwC European HR Services Leadership Network. He is a former board member of a number of international business associations, including the Ireland Canada Business Association, and the International Committee of Dublin Chamber of Commerce. His overseas experience was gained with the PwC's global strategy team in PwC New York.
He is an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute, holds a Professional Diploma in Management, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Prior to PwC Mark worked in the Public Sector.
