PwC and AIESEC announce 2011 young business leaders

Following a demanding business case study and presentation to PwC Partners, “Somnium” was named as the winning team in the 2011 PwC/AIESEC Business Leadership Tournament. Team members are Kevin Glynn, Richard Whelan, Declan Egan, Bevan Murray all from UCD. The competition involved over 200 of Ireland's most talented graduates across four universities - Dublin City University, NUI Maynooth, Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin. The Finals took place at PwC, Spencer Dock.

Speaking at the announcement, Vlad Fejer, President, AIESEC Ireland said:
"It has been one of the most challenging of competitions. The leadership talent and skills demonstrated by these young professionals will stand them well in their future business careers. I especially congratulate the winning team and wish them every success in the future."

Enda McDonagh, member of the judging panel and PwC Partner added:
"Supporting leadership in young graduates, many of whom will be our future business leaders, will contribute to the future success of our economy. It is from new ideas, led and developed by young graduates such as these, that future businesses and growth will emerge.
