Joe Tynan

Joe is a partner in PwC’s tax practice and has over 19 years experience in advising multi-nationals investing in Ireland on Irish, European and global structures. Joe acts for a number of household names in the technology sector from the US and also acts for a number of Irish based multi-nationals. Joe assists these multi-nationals to structure their operations to benefit from beneficial Irish tax rates and to keep their world-wide tax rate to a minimum.

Joe has worked with a number of multi-nationals to assist them establishing:

  • European headquarter operations in Ireland
  • Commissionaire structures in Ireland
  • Entrepreneur structures in Ireland
  • IP structuring

Joe is a member of the Irish Tax Leadership since 2002. He is the partner in charge of PwC’s Tax Services for Inbound companies leading a group of 8 partners and 80 staff.

He is an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute and a Director and Honorary Treasury of the Irish Exporters Association and a member of the Irish Software Association and ICT Ireland.
