Liam Diamond

Liam Diamond is a partner in the tax services practice and specialises in advising companies operating in the technology, infocomms and entertainment & media sectors. He also leads our inward investment practice.

Liam has extensive experience in inward investment projects, international tax planning and advising US, Canadian, UK & Indian groups on a wide range of Irish and international tax and related matters.

Between 2004 and 2006, Liam worked in the international tax services group in PwC New York and, during this time, he re-established the Irish tax desk and advised US and Canadian groups on Irish M&A transactions and international tax planning involving Ireland. He now works primarily with US groups and also oversees our New York based Irish tax desk team.

Liam has significant experience advising clients in the areas of IP planning and migration; global structure alignment; establishing Irish entrepreneur/principal companies; holding company and financing structures; leasing, treasury and captive insurance companies and SPV & securitisation vehicles.

Liam is an associate of the Irish Taxation Institute, a member of the American Chamber Tax Policy Group and a member of the Ireland Canada Business Association and the Ireland India Business Association.
