Embracing and evolving third-party risk management after COVID-19

24 November, 2020

COVID-19 demonstrated the value of robust, effective and efficient third-party risk management (TPRM). Businesses already had complex, interconnected ecosystems of third-party provided services. This presented many challenges, including managing capabilities, oversight and monitoring, and data collection and security. The pandemic has shown the need for organisations to increase their management of third-party risk.

How can organisations coherently manage the myriad of issues posed by working with third-party service providers? How can they protect and create value through working and managing risk effectively with their strategic partners?

In this whitepaper, the PwC EMEA TPRM Centre of Excellence assesses how organisations can learn the lessons learnt from COVID-19. It focuses on the digital transformation agenda, programme challenges and the regulatory agenda. It also asks, "Is now the time to focus on TPRM?"
