PwC has appointed Gillian Lowth (Assurance Partner), Mairead Connolly (Tax Partner) and Florita Dolly (Tax Director) to its Galway and Mid-West practice.
Speaking at the announcement, Ken Johnson, Leader, PwC Mid-West practice, said: "These appointments reflect the firm's commitment to Galway along with strong growth in the Galway region across all areas of business. Gillian Lowth is a Partner in the firm's Asset and Wealth Management practice in the PwC Galway and Mid-West practice, providing audit and related services to Irish and International clients that manage a wide range of investment funds. She has nearly 20 years experience working with and advising clients which gives her an in-depth knowledge of the challenges faced by asset managers and fund service providers. Gillian currently works across a broad base of private equity and real estate clients, special purpose vehicles and traditional and alternative funds.
Mairead Connolly becomes a Tax Partner in the PwC Galway and Mid-West practice. She has deep expertise in identifying tax solutions for a broad range of clients including multinational and Irish family owned businesses, along with State bodies, in the Galway and Limerick regions. She advises her clients and their shareholders on availing of tax reliefs and incentives, along with compliance, structuring and tax efficient succession planning. She has significant experience dealing with Revenue interactions on behalf of clients.
Florita Dolly joined the firm as a Tax Director within the Galway office. Florita joins us from the Revenue Commissioners where she spent over seven years as Assistant Principal leading teams of Revenue Auditors in interventions across all tax heads including income tax, corporation tax, CGT and VAT in multiple industries. Florita also has previous experience working as a Director for KPMG where she spent over 10 years advising clients.
