Brian

"I applied for a PwC work placement to help me to decide what career path I wanted to take, as well as gaining more of an understanding of different businesses. The work placement taught me to have confidence in my ability to use the tools I attained in college and apply them in a work setting. I also developed skills that were useful when I went back to college—organisational skills, technical skills and people skills, along with a host of others. Before my work placement in PwC, I was unsure as to what the future held. The experience allowed me to learn, develop and most importantly decide my next step after my degree."

Jared

"If you’re thinking about a work placement at PwC, you’re definitely on the right track and making a great decision. The people in PwC really surprised me: everyone is so helpful and they don’t conform to what you would expect them to be like. The work placement helped me realise I was more capable than I thought before I started. I found I knew much more about what I had learned in college and it came to life when I saw it being applied in practice. You will have fun, meet incredibly interesting and genuine people who will help you out whenever you need and learn so much about PwC and the world of work. Most of all, you will learn a lot about yourself."

Nicole

"My work placement at PwC gave me invaluable insights into a career in Tax and working in one of the world’s biggest professional services firms. From the very start, my team made sure that I felt included and they were always there to offer a helping hand or kind advice. The atmosphere in the office was always bright, friendly and welcoming. I had the opportunity to work with different teams, which really helped me in building good working relationships with my colleagues. I would definitely recommend PwC to anyone looking to gain an insight into a professional services career to apply for the work placement programme. The opportunities offered by PwC are endless, the support is incredible and the experience obtained is invaluable."

Paul

"When I look back at my first day, not really knowing what I was doing, to my last day in my work placement, I really feel a sense of achievement at how much I’ve grown, and how quickly. I was working on multiple projects with multiple clients in different industries at the same time. The work placement really challenged me and showed me how much I could achieve. I was expecting it to be a boring corporate job, but it was quite the opposite. The offices are bright and airy with facilities to suit everyone and the people were so welcoming. PwC isn’t just about client work, I also got involved in a lot of research, charity work and many social events within the firm."

Vicky

"In PwC, you will be pushed to reach your full potential, which is far more than I could have hoped for in a work placement. The career development opportunities I found at PwC pushed me to seize the chance of securing a graduate position once I had completed my degree. The placement also helped me shape my degree and enhance my skills, learning and development. People actually care about you and your personal development and if you speak up about the things you want to do and achieve, PwC will do their best to make this happen for you. A work placement at PwC is a great way to build your network and in a short space of time, you will make lifelong friends. It is definitely one of the best life decisions I have made."
