Johnny is a Partner at PwC Ireland, leading the firm’s Tax Technology and Transformation practice. With extensive experience in tax and technology, Johnny delivers innovative solutions that leverage solutions like PwC’s Harvey Tax AI Assistant, advanced tax engines, robotic process automation (RPA) and data analytics to drive efficiency and compliance while augmenting professional judgement.
Since joining PwC in 2008, Johnny has led numerous international tax technology projects, focusing on transforming tax functions. His expertise includes designing and executing tax technology strategies, optimising enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and tax engines, and leading data initiatives. Johnny’s approach ensures that technology solutions are scalable and aligned with clients’ specific needs.
Johnny’s experience is enriched by significant client secondments in the software and technology sectors, as well as an international secondment to PwC Netherlands. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Dublin City University and is both ACA and CTA qualified. Johnny envisions a future where tax functions seamlessly integrate with advanced technologies, enabling businesses to achieve unprecedented efficiency and compliance.
