PwC Ireland joins forces with the women’s sustainable health company, Riley.

PwC has teamed up with Riley to provide sustainable period products to all of PwC’s female employees and visitors 

-Supporting accessibility and gender equality in the workplace.

PwC Ireland is pleased to announce today that it has teamed up with Riley, a women’s sustainable health company,  to provide eco-friendly period products within all of its female and accessible bathrooms countrywide.

Speaking at the launch, Emma Scott, PwC Ireland’s People Partner, said:  “At PwC we pride ourselves in creating an equal, inclusive and diverse working environment. We are delighted to collaborate with Riley on this important initiative which underpins our commitment to sustainability, gender equality and cultivating a workplace that supports our people’s health and wellbeing.”

Lauren Duggan, Co-Founder of Riley, said: "This year's International Women Day theme is all around innovation in a gender balanced world. At Riley, we believe that period products should be readily available to all. We are so proud to be collaborating with PwC on this forward thinking initiative to provide eco-friendly period products to all team members - one that promotes equality, inclusion and sustainability in the workplace."

Other PwC Ireland gender equality initiatives include:

  • PwC recently launched a suite of inclusion-first policies which cover supports around Fertility, Pregnancy Loss, Menopause and Domestic Abuse - providing flexibility and allowing for paid leave for employees impacted by such events and contributing to their empowerment, safety and wellbeing.

  • PwC Ireland published its Gender Pay Gap report under the new legislation ‘The Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021’ on 19 December 2022 revealing its mean gender pay gap to be less than 1% (0.9%), reflecting the strong representation of women across all levels across the firm.
