Working with PwC’s Tech We Can programme providing greater reach in the DEIS schools

As part of PwC’s ongoing commitment to fostering diversity in technology and advancing gender equality, the firm is delighted to partner with Junior Achievement Ireland (JAI) on the delivery of the Tech We Can programme.

JAI have been community partners of PwC for over 25 years and we are delighted to strengthen our ties in schools across our communities through the delivery of Tech We Can programme. Aligned closely to both its Inclusion First and Social Impact strategies, this partnership will provide more young girls with the inspiration, resources and relatable role models they need to explore careers in technology through greater reach in the DEIS (Delivering Equality of opportunity In Schools) schools. Encouraging women into tech careers

Tech We Can, developed by the charity Tech She Can, is a free educational programme designed to inspire young people—particularly girls—to explore technology-related subjects and careers. By connecting students with relatable role models and showcasing real-world applications, it helps build confidence and ambition in the next generation of tech talent. The Tech We Can programme is one of the initiatives run by PwC Ireland as part of its Women in Tech network, having a mission to empower, educate and mentor women as they develop their careers in technology.

Speaking at the announcement, Enda McDonagh, Managing Partner at PwC Ireland, said: “We are delighted to strengthen our relationship with JAI which spans over 25 years, marking a milestone in our fourth year of delivering the Tech We Can programme. It reflects our deep commitment to driving equality beyond PwC and underpins our Inclusion First and Social Impact Strategies. We know the future of work will be shaped by technology – and that future must be built by everyone. Through this partnership, our goal is to ensure that women are equal contributors in building that future. By building a community and support networks, we aim to guide women in tech, helping them navigate challenges, build confidence and access valuable resources and opportunities. We look forward to continuing our work with Junior Achievement Ireland.”

Spokesperson for Junior Achievement Ireland, Aoibheann Doyle-Mulhare said: “Junior Achievement Ireland is proud to build on our long-standing partnership with PwC—spanning over 25 years—to bring the Tech We Can programme to more students across Ireland. This collaboration is a powerful example of what’s possible when industry and education come together to inspire the next generation. By reaching students, particularly girls, in DEIS schools with relatable role models and real-world tech experiences, we’re helping them see a future where they belong in technology. Together with PwC, we’re not just opening doors—we’re building pathways to confidence, ambition, and opportunity in the digital world.

“We are excited to see the impact that our partnership with PwC can have on the future of the tech landscape in Ireland.”
