Our insurance regulation bulletin for Q1 of 2021 looks at the most significant domestic and European regulatory developments over the last three months.
These include the European Commission and European Supervisory Agencies (ESAs) policy announcements around the EU’s approach to dealing with third countries, and the Central Bank of Ireland's reaction to the High Court judgement test case in relation to Business Interruption Insurance.
The last quarter also saw the launch of EIOPA's consultation on open insurance that seeks to balance innovation and efficiency with concerns about data and consumer protection.
These issues and more are covered in our bulletin.
