What Summer Internship positions are available?

During this tailored twelve-week programme you split your time between our Assurance and Tax practices or you can specialise in our Advisory practice in Risk Assurance Solutions (RAS) or Consulting. All positions will be based in our Dublin office at Spencer Dock.

Who can apply to the Summer Internship Programme?

If you’re in the penultimate year of your undergraduate degree or are in second year of a four year degree where a Co Op placement/Erasmus is mandatory in third year, then you have the opportunity to join our Joint Assurance and Tax or Risk Assurance Solutions (RAS) internship programme. You must be on track for a minimum of a 2.1 degree.

Only students who are currently completing a Masters programme and who will graduate from their Masters in 2012 can join our Consulting internship Programme.

What is the closing for applications?

The closing date for applications is Thursday, 23 February 2012.

What are the dates of the Summer Internship Programme?

The programme starts on Monday, 11 June 2012 and finishes on Friday, 31 August 2012.

What is involved in the recruitment process?

Step 1. Application form
The application process is simple and gives you plenty of time to get your application form spot on. Make sure you outline not only your academic record and other achievements but also the reasons behind your application and for choosing PwC. If your application is successful you will be invited to attend an interview at our offices in Spencer Dock.

Step 2. Attend an interview
We will give you the chance to show us you’ve thought carefully about your application plus the skills you have and wish to develop during your Summer Internship. We’ll explore your understanding of our business and our services, and how you work and communicate with others.

Step 3. Receive an offer
We’ll let you know whether we’d like to make you an offer as soon after your interview as possible.

Must I have studied accountancy or business?

No. We accept applications from students from all disciplines.

How can I verify if my profile has been successfully completed? Or if my application has been successfully sent?

Once your online application form has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email and a link to your ‘communication centre’ which will allow you to track your application.

Will I be notified if I'm not selected for interview?

Yes. Unsuccessful candidates will be notified via email during the selection process.
