CP86 (Fund Management Company Effectiveness)

The CBI  is currently in the process of the review of the implementation of their Fund Management Company Effectiveness Guidance (CP86). Applicable firms must be aware that compliance with this guidance is one of the CBI’s priorities.

Our Asset Management Regulatory Advisory team can provide clients with a detailed understanding of the requirements of the legislation in place. We can examine the current regulatory structures within companies, and provide a detailed analysis and recommendation of areas that require further improvement.

Changing international tax

The international tax landscape is changing at an unprecedented rate to reflect the changing nature of international business. With significant changes driven by the OECD, the European Union, the US and other local tax authorities, tax is now more than ever a key consideration in cross-border investment.

There is an increased focus on tax transparency. Bearing down on international tax avoidance and evasion has seen the introduction of a range of international measures to tackle offshore non-compliance.

As the only dedicated asset and wealth management tax team in Ireland, our expert team can guide asset managers and investors through the entire investment process and help navigate changes to global and local tax rules.
