Hear from our past interns

Robbie - Advisory

My summer spent as part of PwC's deals team was extremely rewarding. My fellow interns and I got to see how experienced professionals handled mergers and acquisitions. Not only that, the work we carried out was integrated into projects and represented real importance. The chance to see our work contributing towards a final version was very exciting. I feel that I finished the internship with a wonderful network of contacts and friends.

A typical week as a PwC summer intern involves working within your department from Monday to Thursday, then attending skills sessions and talks each Friday as well as allotted time to work on the summer intern client project. The project provided a great opportunity to work with interns working in other areas of the firm and get an insight into the workings of other departments.

Nicole - Tax

One thing that really stood out about my internship is that I was never treated as just an intern. From day one you get to be part of the team. I was assigned a ‘buddy’ who was always there to help me settle in, introduce me to the team and answer any questions I had. The PwC Summer internship provided me with valuable hands-on experience and developed my interpersonal and professional skills.

Czarene - Assurance

Having received an offer from other audit firms, I knew PwC would be the perfect place to spend the summer right from the beginning of the application process. The 12 weeks which followed were undoubtedly amongst the most challenging yet beneficial weeks of my life to date, further enhancing my desire to return to the company. The internship was only the start of a vibrant and opportunity-filled career path within PwC.

Without doubt, taking part in this internship was one of the best things I've ever done - not only did I learn so much and get a real insight into the working world, but I made friends for life from it. PwC's culture, professionalism, training programmes, reputation and clients are only a few of the attributes that have me returning to PwC in September on a graduate contract - I'm sure you'll discover many more by taking part in this brilliant experience.
