Partner, PwC Ireland (Republic of)
Declan leads the Business Recovery Services practice for PwC in the Republic of Ireland. He is based in the PwC Dublin offices with staff based in Dublin, Cork and Limerick.
He has over 25 years of experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring having acted as receiver, examiner and liquidator across a range of sectors including hospitality, construction, property, retail, engineering, distribution, motor and software among others. He acts for financial institutions, government entities, private equity firms, hedge funds and distressed corporates in dealing with insolvencies, deleveraging plans, asset disposals, turnaround and restructuring plans. He has been engaged across a range of case types from individual asset receiverships and small business insolvencies right through to restructuring businesses within listed groups and plcs.
Declan is a graduate of University College Dublin and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
