Dublin, PwC Ireland (Republic of)

I lead PwC’s Accounting Advisory and Capital Markets practice, helping organisations navigate complex transactions and large‑scale change. I focus on delivering technically robust, practical solutions that support confident decision‑making.

Donal has over 20 years’ experience advising organisations on complex accounting, capital markets activity and major transactions. He specialises in M&A accounting, carve‑outs, IPO readiness and transitions across IFRS, US GAAP and FRS 102.

He has led significant IFRS and US GAAP transition projects supporting listings and other capital markets activity, and regularly advises on the accounting implications of acquisitions, divestitures and complex structuring.

Donal works closely with PwC’s Deals and Tax teams across sectors and is recognised for combining deep technical expertise with clear, pragmatic advice that helps organisations move forward with confidence.

I work collaboratively with organisations to cut through complexity and deliver clear, practical accounting and structuring solutions.
