Jim McDonnell is a partner in the tax services practice and advises financial services companies.
Jim has advised on a wide range of taxation issues specific to financial institutions in Ireland and internationally including banking taxation, leasing, stock lending/repo transactions, asset management and securitisations.
Jim has advised many leading financial institutions on significant leasing transactions, including tax-based property transactions and big-ticket leasing deals. His client base includes a significant portfolio of both US and European headquartered aircraft lessors.
Jim spent almost 10 years as an Inspector of Taxes with the Irish Revenue Commissioners prior to joining PwC.
