PwC Ireland is delighted to announce that Barry Whelan has joined the firm as Tech Consulting Partner in PwC’s Advisory Practice.

With 26 years in the tech industry, Barry brings a wealth of experience in delivering tech-powered business transformation projects.
Speaking at the appointment, Enda McDonagh, Managing Partner, PwC Ireland, said: “This is a significant appointment for the firm. About Barry Whelan
Barry is a Partner in the PwC’s Advisory practice. He returns to PwC, where he began his career, after 21 years with IBM Consulting as an Executive Partner. With 26 years of cross-industry experience, Barry has worked with global and local clients in sectors such as consumer products and agribusiness, consumer electronics, industrial products, airlines, energy and utilities, healthcare and the public sector. He specialises in helping organisations deliver large-scale, tech-powered business transformations.
Barry is a postgraduate in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford. He also holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Ulster, a Master of Business Studies, and a Master of Science in Project Management from University College Dublin. Additionally, he has a postgraduate qualification in Commercial Law and is a Chartered Fellow of the British Computer Society.
