Welcome to the latest edition of PwC’s newsletter on foreign direct investment (FDI) in Ireland.

The FDI sector in Ireland continues to flourish, as reflected once again in the Irish jobs and investments announced since our previous edition in March (see page three).

Ireland has continued to build strong FDI momentum in 2026, supported by significant levels of job creation, innovation investment and regional growth (see page seven).

Talent remains one of Ireland’s key competitive advantages, supported by a skilled workforce, strong graduate pipeline and growing focus on upskilling in areas such as AI, sustainability and digital transformation (see page eight).

Ireland’s investment in digital infrastructure, AI capability and energy capacity is strengthening its position as a leading destination for technology-led foreign direct investment (see page ten).

Finally, we highlight recent PwC publications, podcasts, economic updates and key rankings relevant to FDI investors (see page 12).

Please don’t hesitate to contact myself, any member of our team, or your usual PwC Ireland contact at any stage. We would be happy to tell you more about the topics raised in this issue or to include any interested parties on our mailing list.
